Coach Kristin

Kristin Messerli is a dedicated coach, educator, and mother of three with a lifelong passion for fitness and health. A former gymnast, cheerleader, and dancer, she taught special education for five years while her children were young. After having her son, she rediscovered her passion for fitness and began coaching soon after he was born.
Her love for acro was sparked when her daughter began dancing. Wanting to learn more, Kristin earned her Acro Dance Teacher Certification through ADTA and has continued to grow as a coach, always learning new ways to support her students.
As the founder of Twisted Motion, Kristin’s mission is to keep families active, engaged, and thriving. Her classes are designed to be challenging, fun, and accessible, encouraging students to build strength, flexibility, and confidence. She is passionate about creating a supportive community where fitness is a way of life for the whole family.

Coach Leigh Ann
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant | Certified Orthopedic Specialist
Coach Leigh Ann is a proud Galveston native (B.O.I. – Born on the Island!) who has been passionate about fitness and health her entire life. A lifelong athlete, she played softball throughout her childhood but found her true love in volleyball, which led her to play at the collegiate level.
Leigh Ann earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 2011 and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2017. She has worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics throughout Austin and the Hill Country, treating patients ages 8 to 98 with a wide range of orthopedic, neuromuscular, and post-operative needs.
Today, she uses that expertise to coach Total Body Strength at Twisted Motion, helping participants of all fitness levels lift safely, improve form, and gain functional strength.
Leigh Ann’s coaching style is rooted in helping people reconnect with their bodies, improve movement quality, and celebrate progress — no matter how big or small.
Outside of the studio, Leigh Ann enjoys playing sand volleyball with her rec league team, lounging by the pool, and spending time with her husband and their son, whom they adopted in 2024.

Coach Hannah
Certified Mat Pilates | Certified Barre Pilates | B.S. in Education, Abilene Christian University
Hannah Benac grew up in Boerne, Texas, where she spent much of her childhood playing sports and exploring the outdoors. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Abilene Christian University, and her love of teaching and movement inspired her to become certified in both Mat Pilates and Barre Pilates.
She holds a B.S. in Education from Abilene Christian University and is a Certified Mat Pilates Instructor and Certified Barre Pilates Instructor.
Hannah has over four years of experience teaching Pilates, combining her education background with her passion for body movement and alignment. Her teaching style focuses on helping clients build strength, flexibility, and confidence through mindful movement that supports their long-term health and wellness.
She is passionate about the transformative power of Pilates and Barre. She loves guiding others as they develop core strength, enhance flexibility, and improve balance — all of which help create a healthy and active lifestyle.
Hannah is a busy mom of five and spends much of her free time cheering for her kids at their various activities — and making sure the pantry stays stocked!

Coach Tricia
AFAA Certified Group Fitness | Barre Above Certified | Spinning/Cycling Instructor
Coach Tricia has been teaching group fitness since 2016 and is a lifelong fitness enthusiast. A former marathoner and triathlete, she discovered barre during her first pregnancy and fell in love with its low-impact, high-results toning effects.
Her classes are all about building strength — no fancy choreography or dance skills required! Tricia creates a welcoming environment where everyone can focus on feeling strong, powerful, and yes… ready to feel the burn 🔥.

Coach Jess
TRX Certified Instructor
Meet Coach Jess! A native Texan, Jess and her family made Wimberley their home in 2020, though she’s been connected to the community since childhood thanks to her grandparents who lived here for 50 years.
Jess discovered TRX a few years ago and quickly became passionate about the results and versatility it offers. She earned her TRX Certification earlier this year and now loves leading others through fun, challenging, and strength-building workouts.
When she’s not coaching or driving her two kids to games and activities, you can find Jess enjoying live music at ACL Moody Theater, eating tacos (because Texas, duh!), or curled up with a good book.
Jess loves the community at Twisted Motion and believes working out should be both therapeutic and fun — her classes will leave you feeling stronger, accomplished, and part of the crew!

Coach Stephanie
Certified Yoga Instructor
Stephanie is a certified yoga instructor with a deep passion for guiding students toward strength, balance, and calm. Drawing from her experience in strength training and ancient movement practices, she leads Express Yoga Flow with a focus on mindful movement, mobility, and breathwork. Her classes are tailored for all levels—beginners through advanced—helping students build strength, improve flexibility, and leave feeling grounded and restored.

Christine is an experienced yoga instructor who creates a welcoming, supportive space for students of all levels. Her Express Yoga Flow classes emphasize mindful movement, breathwork, and alignment to improve strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. With her gentle and approachable teaching style, Christine helps students reconnect with their bodies, reduce stress, and leave class feeling refreshed and empowered.

Coach Becky
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
Becky brings a wealth of experience and passion to Twisted Motion! A Physical Therapist Assistant right here in Wimberley, Becky is a former Level 10 gymnast with over 15 years of coaching experience. She has coached cheer and gymnastics through Level 9, sharing her expertise with athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Becky loves working with students on everything from foundational skills like cartwheels and walkovers to advanced tumbling such as back handsprings, back tucks, layouts, and full-twisting layouts. Her deep understanding of proper technique and body mechanics helps athletes build confidence, prevent injury, and reach their full potential.

Level 1-5 Acro & Tumbling
Austin native Brooke Mountain is a dancer, choreographer, and acrobatics specialist with a BFA in Dance Education and a BS in Business Administration from Chapman University. For over a decade, she has trained dancers of all ages, developed competitive acro programs, and earned top certifications from Acrobatic Arts and the Acro Dance Teachers Association, ensuring safe and progressive instruction.
Brooke’s expertise spans acro, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, tap, and more. A seasoned performer, she has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, World of Dance, Austin City Limits, and in national commercials, films, and music videos. Known for her creativity and passion, she empowers students to achieve technical mastery and expressive artistry—both in the studio and beyond.

Coach Indy
Certified Acro Associate | Acro Dance Certification in Progress
Level 1-4 Acro and Tumbling
Indiana has been dancing since the age of 7 and is a former competitive gymnast and competitive acro dancer. She is actively pursuing additional ballet training to strengthen her technique and plans to graduate early so she can dedicate a gap year to working and training for dance.
Passionate about movement science, Indiana is interested in kinesiology and how the body works. She hopes to use this knowledge to help dancers stay strong, safe, and healthy throughout their training.
As a certified Acro Associate and aspiring Acro Dance Teacher, Indiana loves working with beginning acro dancers and tumblers and is excited to continue growing as an educator at Twisted Motion.

Coach Dana
Master Acro Instructor
Tiny Tots | Level 2 Acro & Tumbling | Cheer | Acro Ninja
Dana is passionate about health, education, and creating inclusive spaces where every athlete can thrive. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Dance Studies and a minor in Honors, they also served as a Study Abroad Ambassador in Trinidad and Europe and are a certified Acro Dance Teacher, blending artistry and movement to inspire students of all abilities.
They recently earned a Master’s in Education for Health Behavior and Health Education from The University of Texas at Austin and are completing an alternative teaching certification. Dana’s goal is to expand high-quality physical education and health programs across Texas and eventually pursue a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. At Twisted Motion, they bring deep knowledge of movement and education to help each athlete build confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of health and fitness.

Coach Emma
Acro Dance | Ballet | Hip Hop
Emma Hapgood began dancing at age 10 in Austin, training in ballet, jazz, breakdancing, and contemporary. After moving to Dallas, she trained at Allen Conservatory and Royale Ballet Academy, where she began teaching acrobatics under the mentorship of Alex Patrick.
By the age of 14, Emma was choreographing professionally with SHAPPE Dance Company while continuing to develop her expertise in acro and contortion. She has taught ballet and acro throughout the DFW area in styles including Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Royal, with many of her students excelling in exams.
Now on faculty at The Dallas Conservatory, Emma is an award-winning choreographer and versatile instructor, teaching ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, acro, hip hop, and ballet fusion. She is passionate about guiding students to grow as technical, expressive, and confident dancers.
