Tots
AGE: 1.5-3
Move and Play: Tots is a parent-assisted class designed to get your little one moving through fun Acro and Tumbling activities! This class builds coordination, confidence, and body awareness while supporting language and motor development.
Who This Class Is For:
Children who are confident walkers (walking independently for 3+ months)
Toddlers ready for a playful, semi-structured class with parent support
Parents who are actively engaged—assisting, encouraging, and helping their child stay focused
Skills Taught:
Basic movement: forward rolls, assisted handstands, baby cartwheels
Gross motor development: climbing, jumping, balancing
Listening and language: following directions, movement songs
Social-emotional growth: turn-taking, interacting with others

Pre-K
AGE: 3-5
Must be potty trained | Independent participation
Pre-K classes provide a strong foundation in movement and skill-building. Students will develop coordination, strength, and confidence while practicing key shapes, drills, and beginner skills. They’ll also build social skills, learn to follow directions, and participate independently in a fun, supportive setting.
Who This Class Is For:
Children ages 3–5 who are fully potty trained
Kids who are ready to participate independently with coach guidance
New or returning students ready to explore movement and structure
Skills Taught:
Foundational movement shapes: tuck, straddle, pike, lunge, bridge
Beginner skills: rolls, pre-cartwheel drills, basic strength and agility exercises
Motor development: jumping, balancing, coordination
Social-emotional growth: turn-taking, listening, and classroom cooperation

Kinder
AGE: 5-6
Independent participation | Age-specific instruction
Kinder classes are designed to build confidence and consistency in early movement skills. Students will strengthen body control, coordination, and technique through age-appropriate drills and instruction.
Who This Class Is For:
Children ages 5–6 ready for focused, skill-based classes
Students with prior movement experience or beginners eager to learn
Kids who can follow multi-step directions and participate independently
Skills Taught:
Core body shapes and control: tuck, straddle, pike, bridge, lunge
Beginner skills: forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, strength drills
Motor development: balance, agility, flexibility
Classroom skills: listening, following directions, working in small groups

LEVEL 1
AGE: 6+
Beginner Level | No prior experience required
Level 1 focuses on building a strong foundation in movement, strength, and coordination. Students will learn key shapes, beginner skills, and body awareness through age-appropriate instruction and progressions.
Who This Class Is For:
Students ages 6+ with little to no formal movement experience
Beginners ready to develop coordination, strength, and basic technique
Kids who can participate independently and follow class structure
Skills Taught:
Core shapes and positions: tuck, straddle, pike, lunge, bridge
Foundational skills: forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels
Strength and coordination drills: core control, balance, spatial awareness

LEVEL 2
AGE: 6+
Building Fundamentals | Prerequisite-based progression
Level 2 is for students who have mastered core beginner skills and are ready to build on those fundamentals. This level focuses on strength, control, and technique to prepare for more advanced movements.
Who This Class Is For:
Students who have confidently mastered all of the following:
Cartwheel (strong side)
Handstand on the wall (minimum 10 seconds)
Bridge with straight arms
Forward and backward rolls
Basic body shapes (tuck, straddle, pike, lunge)
Skills Taught:
Cartwheels on both sides
One-handed cartwheels
Handstands away from the wall
Front and back walkovers
Headstands and additional balances
Round-offs
Strength, flexibility, and transition drills for skill connections

AGE: 7+ OR Instructor Approval
Intermediate Skills | Acro and Tumbling Split
Level 3 is the point where Acro and Tumbling classes branch into specialized skill tracks. This level focuses on refining technique, building power, and preparing students for advanced movement progressions.
Who This Class Is For:
Students who have confidently mastered all of the following:
Front and back walkovers
One-handed cartwheels
Handstands away from the wall (minimum 5 seconds)

Headstands (minimum of 10 seconds for Acro)

Open Gym
MONDAYS and FRIDAYs 8:15-10:15
LEVEL: AGE 1-12Join us for supervised play every Friday. Kids can enjoy obstacle courses, group games, and free play in a fun and safe environment. Perfect for burning off energy and building skills!

AcroDance: Ballet Kinder
LEVEL: Age 4-6
This sweet and lively combo class introduces young dancers to the basics of ballet and acro in a playful, age-appropriate way! Students will twirl, stretch, balance, and tumble while building strength, coordination, and confidence—all through creative movement and imaginative play.

AcroDance: Hip Hop
LEVEL: Age 6-12
Get ready to move with purpose! This high-energy class focuses on developing coordination, rhythm, and strong movement technique through dynamic choreography set to age-appropriate music. Students will learn foundational hip hop skills—such as grooves, isolations, and footwork—while building confidence and musicality.

AcroDance: Mixed Genre
LEVEL: Ages 7-14
This exciting class blends the artistry of dance styles—jazz, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and hip hop—with the strength, flexibility, and control of acro. Dancers will spend time developing genre-based dance technique—focusing on style, performance, and musicality—while also training acro skills that build confidence, coordination, and body awareness. Each class is taught with level-appropriate progressions, allowing students to grow at their own pace in both dance and acro. Through creative combinations and choreography, dancers will learn how to connect expressive artistry with powerful acro tricks.

Drill Team Acro
LEVEL: Age 13-18
Specifically designed for high school dance team members, this class focuses on mastering high-impact acro skills that bring extra wow-factor to performances.

LEVEL: 1-4
Acro blends dance with acrobatic tricks, focusing on strength, flexibility, and technique for safe skill mastery. Students will learn fundamental tumbling skills such as handstands, cartwheels, and walkovers, along with unique variations and fluid transitions that seamlessly integrate into dance. With progressive training, they’ll develop control, balance, and coordination, enhancing their overall performance while becoming confident and versatile dancers.

Acro Ninja
LEVEL: Pre-K, 1-4
Acro Ninja blends gymnastics and parkour, building strength, balance, agility, and body control through acrobatic tricks. With a focus on safety and progression, students gain confidence while enhancing performance in sports like soccer, basketball, and football.

Tumbling
LEVEL: Pre-K, 1-4, Teen
Tumbling at Twisted Motion builds strength, flexibility, and body control, focusing on essential floor skills like rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and walkovers. Unlike Acro, which includes dance elements, Tumbling emphasizes proper technique and progressive skill development, making it ideal for cheerleaders and athletes. Students advance at their own pace, building a strong foundation for more complex skills.

Cheer & Tumbling
LEVEL: Ages 5-9
This high-energy Cheer & Tumbling class is designed for athletes looking to build a strong foundation in both cheerleading and tumbling. Students will develop essential skills, including stunts, jumps, tumbling, spiriting, and chants, while focusing on strength, flexibility, and proper technique for safe execution. With an emphasis on teamwork and confidence, this class provides a supportive environment for beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Whether preparing for a cheer team or simply wanting to experience the excitement of cheer and tumbling, this class is the perfect introduction to the sport!

Friday Drop-In Tumbling
LEVEL: 2-4
Friday Tumbling is a Drop-In Class designed to give current students a chance to get in extra repetitions and practice skills that they have learned in their classes during the week. This class can also be used as a make-up class if your child missed a weekly class. As the enrollment varies week to week, the class will vary week to week as well. This class is not designed to be the primary tumbling class for students, but a supplemental class to build upon skills that they are learning. This is also a great way to get in some tumbling time if your current schedule does not fit a weekly class at this time. Think of it as an organized Open Gym.

Coach Kristin is a Master Instructor with the Acro Dance Teacher’s Association. She is also a certified fitness instructor and a former gymnast and cheerleader. Whether you need to work on a specific skill or are looking for creative variations of a trick, Coach Kristin can help!

Coach Mere is an experienced gymnastics and cheer coach. She specializes in technique and proper form , tailoring each session to meet the needs of the tumbler. Coach Mere is available to work with beginning level tumblers through advanced level tumblers.

Coach Dana is a Premier Certified Acro Dance Teacher’s Association instructor. She is excellent with all ages and focuses on injury prevention by teaching to the tumbler's needs and desired skills. She specializes in walkovers, cartwheels, and more! Schedule your session today!

Indiana Messerli
Indiana is an experienced competitive dancer and Twisted Motion's most advanced tumbler. She has been studying Acro Dance Technique for several years, implementing what she has learned into her own practice and in her classes. Indy specializes in beginner through intermediate level.

Coach Brooke
Brooke has been teaching and choreographing for over a decade, developing competitive acro programs and training dancers of all ages across leading Austin studios. She holds extensive certifications, including Acrobatic Arts Module 1, Module 2, Back Handspring & Aerial, and Back Tuck & Back Layout—earning Excellent marks, the highest results a teacher can receive. She also holds multiple Premiere Professional certifications through the Acro Dance Teachers Association (ADTA), with Junior, Intermediate, and Advanced distinctions. These credentials reflect her deep commitment to safe, technical, and progressive training.
Her expertise extends beyond acrobatics into jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, tap, salsa, and musical theater. As a performer, Brooke has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, World of Dance, Austin City Limits at the Moody Theater, and in commercials, films, and music videos. She continues to guest choreograph across Texas, California, New York, and Georgia, shaping dancers into versatile and confident artists.
In addition to teaching and performing, Brooke has served as a judge for cheer, pom, and dance competitions with Varsity Spirit, NAACP ACT-SO, and other national organizations. She is widely respected for her creativity, passion, and ability to instill strength, artistry, and confidence in her students. Her comprehensive approach combines in-studio training with customized at-home progressions, empowering dancers to achieve both technical mastery and expressive artistry.
