Each of our classes is designed with a purpose: to get your child moving.
Whether they are a dancer, cheerleader, ball player, or just want to learn to tumble…

The Winter Session runs January 5th through March 12th. This 10 week session can be paid in full or billed monthly on the 15th of the month with a $20 registration fee due at checkout. Tuition is prorated.
LEVELS

Toddlers
AGE: 1.5-3
Toddler classes are parent-assisted classes designed to get your little one moving through fun Acro and Tumbling activities! Children will build coordination, confidence, and body awareness while supporting language and motor development.
Who This Class Is For:
Children who are confident walkers (walking independently for 3+ months)
Toddlers ready for a playful, semi-structured class with parent support
Parents who are actively engaged—assisting, encouraging, and helping their child stay focused
Skills Taught:
Basic movement: forward rolls, assisted handstands, baby cartwheels
Gross motor development: climbing, jumping, balancing
Listening and language: following directions, movement songs
Social-emotional growth: turn-taking, interacting with others

Pre-K
AGE: 3-5
Must be potty trained | Independent participation
Pre-K classes provide a strong foundation in movement and skill-building. Students will develop coordination, strength, and confidence while practicing key shapes, drills, and beginner skills. They’ll also build social skills, learn to follow directions, and participate independently in a fun, supportive setting.
Who This Class Is For:
Children ages 3–5 who are fully potty trained
Kids who are ready to participate independently with coach guidance
New or returning students ready to explore movement and structure
Skills Taught:
Foundational movement shapes: tuck, straddle, pike, lunge, bridge
Beginner skills: rolls, pre-cartwheel drills, basic strength and agility exercises
Motor development: jumping, balancing, coordination
Social-emotional growth: turn-taking, listening, and classroom cooperation

Kinder
AGE: 5-6
Independent participation | Age-specific instruction
Kinder classes are designed to build confidence and consistency in early movement skills. Students will strengthen body control, coordination, and technique through age-appropriate drills and instruction.
Who This Class Is For:
Children ages 5–6 ready for focused, skill-based classes
Students with prior movement experience or beginners eager to learn
Kids who can follow multi-step directions and participate independently
Skills Taught:
Core body shapes and control: tuck, straddle, pike, bridge, lunge
Beginner skills: forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, strength drills
Motor development: balance, agility, flexibility
Classroom skills: listening, following directions, working in small groups

LEVEL 1
AGE: 6+
Beginner Level | No prior experience required
Level 1 focuses on building a strong foundation in movement, strength, and coordination. Students will learn key shapes, beginner skills, and body awareness through age-appropriate instruction and progressions.
Who This Class Is For:
Students ages 6+ with little to no formal movement experience
Beginners ready to develop coordination, strength, and basic technique
Kids who can participate independently and follow class structure
Skills Taught:
Core shapes and positions: tuck, straddle, pike, lunge, bridge
Foundational skills: forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels
Strength and coordination drills: core control, balance, spatial awareness
Introduction to trick families for progressive learning

LEVEL 2
AGE: 6+
Building Fundamentals | Prerequisite-based progression
Level 2 is for students who have mastered core beginner skills and are ready to build on those fundamentals. This level focuses on strength, control, and technique to prepare for more advanced movements.
For Students who have confidently mastered all of the following:
-Cartwheel (strong side)
-Handstand on the wall (minimum 10 seconds)
-Bridge with straight arms
-Forward and backward rolls
-Basic body shapes (tuck, straddle, pike, lunge)Skills Taught:
-Cartwheels on both sides
-One-handed cartwheels
-Handstands away from the wall
-Front and back walkovers
-Headstands and additional balances
-Round-offs
-Strength, flexibility, and transition drills for skill connections -
LEVEL 3
AGE: 7+ OR Instructor Approval
Intermediate Skills | Acro and Tumbling Split
Level 3 is the point where Acro and Tumbling classes branch into specialized skill tracks. This level focuses on refining technique, building power, and preparing students for advanced movement progressions.
For students who have confidently mastered all of the following:
-Front and back walkovers
-One-handed cartwheels
-Handstands away from the wall (minimum 5 seconds)
-Round-offs
-Headstands (minimum of 10 seconds for Acro)

Advanced Skills | Acro and Tumbling Tracks
This advanced class focuses on refining technique, building power, and mastering elite-level skills. Students will work on complex combinations, advanced series, and specialty tricks to enhance performance and fluidity.
For students who have mastered:

-Handstand holds of 5 seconds or more
-Walkover series (cartwheel connected to walkover)

Homeschool Movement
LEVEL: Ages 4-13
Give your homeschooler a well-rounded, active experience every week! This 90-minute class combines the best parts of our Ninja program with new elements designed to build flexibility, strength, and coordination — all while having FUN.
Students will spend 45–60 minutes in a structured class working on:
Ninja-style obstacle courses
Strength & flexibility training
Group games & teamwork challenges
Movement skills that build confidence and coordinationThe last portion of class is supervised open play, giving kids the chance to explore, practice skills, and enjoy unstructured fun with friends.
Perfect for kids ages 4 and up, this class keeps homeschoolers active, builds friendships, and develops a lifelong love of movement in a positive, encouraging environment.

Move & Create
LEVEL: Ages 1.5-5
Move and Play: Tots is a parent-assisted class designed to get your little one moving through fun activities! This class builds coordination, confidence, and body awareness while supporting language and motor development. Through hands-on exploration and age-appropriate activities, children develop early motor skills and self-expression while having fun in a warm, encouraging environment.
Parents are encouraged to participate and are required to stay with children who are not yet potty trained.

Stretch & Strength
LEVEL: Ages 8-18+
Designed for experienced dancers and acro athletes, this class focuses on developing deep flexibility, functional strength, and controlled mobility to safely support higher-level skills. Training is inspired by both the ADTA and Acrobatic Arts curriculums, ensuring technically sound, progressive instruction.
Athletes will work through targeted drills and strength-based flexibility progressions that emphasize activation, control, and body awareness, rather than passive stretching alone.
This class will focus on:
Flexibility for back, shoulders, hips, and splits
Strength and activation to support deep ranges of motion
Controlled bridges, backbends, and walkover foundations
Front & back walkover variations taught with strength-based progressions
Balance, stability, and body awareness for fluid, intentional movement
Creative transitions and skill connections that support acro and dance technique

Drill Team Prep
LEVEL: Age 13-18
Specifically designed for high school dance team members, this class focuses on mastering high-impact acro skills that bring extra wow-factor to performances.

Cheer Team Prep
LEVEL: Ages 5-18+
Get ready for upcoming cheer team tryouts with a focused 10-week program designed to build the skills, strength, and confidence athletes need to shine on audition day.
This class will help athletes develop the core components of a well-rounded cheerleader, including:

LEVEL: Ages 5-9
This high-energy Cheer & Tumbling class is designed for athletes looking to build a strong foundation in both cheerleading and tumbling. Students will develop essential skills, including stunts, jumps, tumbling, spiriting, and chants, while focusing on strength, flexibility, and proper technique for safe execution. With an emphasis on teamwork and confidence, this class provides a supportive environment for beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Whether preparing for a cheer team or simply wanting to experience the excitement of cheer and tumbling, this class is the perfect introduction to the sport!

Acro Ninja
LEVEL: 1-2
Acro Ninja blends gymnastics and parkour, building strength, balance, agility, and body control through acrobatic tricks. With a focus on safety and progression, students gain confidence while enhancing performance in sports like soccer, basketball, and football.

Tumbling
LEVEL: Pre-K, 1-4, Teen
Tumbling at Twisted Motion builds strength, flexibility, and body control, focusing on essential floor skills like rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and walkovers. Unlike Acro, which includes dance elements, Tumbling emphasizes proper technique and progressive skill development, making it ideal for cheerleaders and athletes. Students advance at their own pace, building a strong foundation for more complex skills.

LEVEL: 1-4
Acro blends dance with acrobatic tricks, focusing on strength, flexibility, and technique for safe skill mastery. Students will learn fundamental tumbling skills such as handstands, cartwheels, and walkovers, along with unique variations and fluid transitions that seamlessly integrate into dance. With progressive training, they’ll develop control, balance, and coordination, enhancing their overall performance while becoming confident and versatile dancers.

Brooke specializes in advanced acro training, including aerials, back handsprings, back tucks, and layouts. With multiple top-level Acrobatic Arts and ADTA certifications, she focuses on safe, technical progressions, individualized drills, and at-home training plans. Brooke’s private lessons are perfect for dancers looking to refine technique, master new tricks, and build strength and confidence for competition or performance.

Coach Mere
Coach Mere is an experienced gymnastics and cheer coach who specializes in teaching proper technique and form. She customizes each session to the tumbler’s goals, whether they are just starting out or working on advanced-level skills.

Indiana Messerli
Indiana is an experienced competitive dancer and Twisted Motion's most advanced tumbler. She has been studying Acro Dance Technique for several years and brings that knowledge into both her own training and the classes she teaches. Indiana specializes in Level 1–4 tumbling and is passionate about helping students build strong foundations and progress safely.

Coach Kristin
Kristin is a Master Instructor with the Acro Dance Teachers Association, a certified fitness instructor, and a former gymnast and cheerleader. Her private lessons focus on breaking down skills safely, building strength, and exploring creative trick variations to help athletes achieve their goals with confidence.

Coach Becky is a former Level 10 gymnast and experienced coach with 15+ years working with athletes from beginners to Level 9. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, she brings a strong understanding of body mechanics and safe technique. Becky is a great choice for athletes wanting to master skills from cartwheels and walkovers to advanced tumbling like back handsprings, tucks, and layouts.
